Hey! I'm Nikhil, a Junior in Engineering at Bergen County Academies. I use software like Autodesk Fusion, VSCode, GitHub, and KiCad, and have exposure to languages such as C++, Java, HTML + CSS, Python, and Swift/SwiftUI, which I use to develop hardware and software projects.
I currently work as a researcher in BCA's Mechatronics Research Lab, and am developing a semi-soft ankle brace that uses fabric jamming for ankle stability in patients with specific types of cerebral palsy. Read more below!
I have experience with 3D Printers (Ultimaker, Ender, and Bambu), and have learned how to design accordingly, slice, print with specialized filaments, and repair my printers. I have used my printers for prototyping and projects for both home and outside solutions. I currently am looking to gain more experience in applied Machine Learning (ML) in Robotics, Reinforcement Learning (RL), and developing projects that utilize AI and Computer Vision (CV) to accelerate what our hardware can do.
I'm always looking for new opportunities in engineering, applied ML, and startup environments. Feel free to contact me to connect or collaborate!
